Ways or methods political parties use to win elections

Due to widespread use of social media and easy availability of information and news nowadays, people learn more from what they see and are told on social media rather than thinking/ using their own minds as well as time to find the actual facts.

People get mostly influenced by following two factors :

(i) Ruling parties messaging – They exaggerate the work done during their tenure as ministers and show it as the efforts of a single person or their party, which actually is more of a routine work and has advises and efforts of various officers and government employees involved behind the scenes too.

(ii) Opposition parties messaging – They show people as victims as if their condition is worse only because of the government, pin-point and manipulate some facts in their favour, especially in areas where people aren’t much aware and educated.

Therefore, it is important for people to realise during election campaigning and before voting that political parties use such a large number of tactics that it affects their mind atleast to some extent. So, instead of focusing on what they are told on social media, they should themselves think what if during the last tenure, some other political party would have been ruling the country/state/Municipal corporations etc and what more or what less they could have done.

People should also think about how much effect does government policies had during the last tenure on them or on other people in both quantitative and qualitative ways.

People should focus more on ‘themselves’ and their surrounding environment and people, rather than on political parties.

Political parties are taking your attention and time away using numerous tactics. They are getting far more attention than they should.

Just start focusing on yourself, make yourself better and skillful.

“Any country becomes great ‘BECAUSE OF IT’S PEOPLE’ , ‘NEVER BECAUSE OF IT’S GOVERNMENT’.

Unfortunately, people have forgotten this in this digital era.”
